Cooking Identities and Tasting Memories: The Heritage of Food
20th Cambridge Heritage Symposium
10th and 11th May 2019
The 2019 conference offered a diverse set of topical presentations, capturing issues from a range of geographical areas pertaining to the heritage of food.
In addition to the thirteen speakers, we were honoured to have three keynotes join us: Dr Emma-Jayne Abbots, Professor Cristina Grasseni and Dr Raúl Matta. Each keynote set the tone for the three themes of the Symposium, which include ‘The Heritagization of Food,’ ‘Food and Foodways in Transit’ and ‘Food, Place and Identity’.
