Last week we welcomed visiting speakers, academics, students & colleagues to our 26th Annual Symposium.
Entitled 'The Role of Heritage in Shaping Ontological Security in the Contemporary World', the symposium was hosted jointly with the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts & Cultures.
Calling for papers on the themes of resilience, commemoration, shared identity, and well-being, the response was overwhelming in its diversity, producing twenty presentations, twelve posters, and one keynote, from speakers representing seventeen institutions in twelve different countries.
The full programme and posters can be viewed on the Symposium page
