CHRC Partner Dr Eva Namusoke wrote a few words about one of her favourite activities so far in her role as Senior Curator, African Collections Futures, McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research.
Focused on a return to Uganda, Afterlives of Return is a project within African Collections Futures, working with with the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology and Uganda Museum. The project explores the period after artefacts return home (whether temporarily or permanently), how they are interpreted and reinterpreted, and the evolution of the relationships between the various communities involved in Uganda and the UK.
