About
I am an Associate Professor with an interdisciplinary background in cultural heritage and landscape studies. I was trained in environmental design and landscape architecture, and I am currently completing my PhD at Henan Agricultural University. My academic background bridges design practice, landscape theory, and heritage research, with a particular focus on the Yellow River Basin in China.
Research
My research focuses on traditional villages as cultural landscapes shaped by long-term interactions between environment, settlement, and agricultural practices. I am particularly interested in multi-scale spatial patterns and the adaptive relationships between villages, river systems, and land use, especially in the Yellow River Basin. My work combines GIS-based spatial analysis with historical sources to inform heritage conservation and rural revitalisation.
