The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge houses many material objects from Northeast India and many belonging to various indigenous communities in central India. This talk aims to draw attention to the material objects from Northeast India housed at the MAA and the historical (colonial) circumstance which led them to the Museum’s possession.
